Outdoor concerts in Midway are magical...the pastoral settings, the easy drive and calming drop into the valley, the great mix of people. Shows in Midway are always some of MB's favorites -- and August 7th's show is sure to be extra special!

Mary Beth's music fits right in to the relaxed, thoughtful vibe -- and her set for this Midway show is unique. Having had many months of downtime to explore some different music, she'll premiere a few pieces you've probably never heard before. She's chosen several songs that she rarely (if ever) performs live, including some obscure Tin Pan Alley gems, a few rare originals from her albums, and even a hymn or two. Over the years, people have suggested songs that are special to them as possible covers for MB...in this show, she'll share some of those wonderful requests.

If you haven't been to Zermatt, it's right across the road from The Homestead, where Mary Beth has played many times in years past. (The Homestead is undergoing deep renovations and construction, so no shows there this year. Zermatt has thankfully taken up the mantle so these "shows can go on!").

This show is part of the Ed Stevens Memorial Concert Series, a tribute to a great guy who -- with his wife Anne -- built a wonderful, enduring legacy of live original music in Midway. We miss you Ed.

Show starts at 7 p.m. Free. No reservations needed. Arrive early for best lawn spots and to make sure you catch opening act Jeff Hinton!

Kids, picnics, coolers, blankets, chairs, etc. are WELCOME. (Our four-legged besties must sadly stay at home, tho.)

Visit the Bakery at Zermatt (open til 7pm) for delicious takeout if you're not up for prepping food ahead!

Hope to see you there! (And that the smoke clears out a bit before showtime. :)
